About Us
Surfside Hearing Aid Center owner Jonathan Shaw has been licensed in the state of Florida since 1975. He is N.B.C.H.I.S. (National Board of Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences) Board Certified. In 1984, he opened Surfside Hearing Aid Center, which has remained in the same location since its opening. Our goal at Surfside Hearing Aid Center is to make our patients successful in hearing in social and working environments.
As a hearing aid wearer himself, Jonathan can identify with his patients. He makes it a priority to try every new hearing aid that comes out. This philosophy allows him the opportunity to be more helpful to his patients who are looking for information on which hearing aids work best at different levels of noise. Jonathan knows what works best in environments such as noisy restaurants, theaters, houses of worship, malls and more. If you have questions, Jonathan can provide you with answers!

-Born with a Hearing loss
-Graduated college with a degree in business in 1972
Started working in the hearing aid field in 1973 in North Miami Hearing Aid CTR. located in North Miami, Fl.
While working I studied for a degree as a hearing aid specialist. I received my license from the Florida division of health in October 1975.
In 1984, I opened Surfside Hearing Aid ctr. were I continued fitting and dispensing hearing aids while studying for my degree as a audio Prosthologist, which I received from the American Conference of Audioprosthology in 1992.
In 1993 I received my degree from National Board fro Certification in hearing instrument sciences.
My passion for fitting and dispensing hearing aids grows with every patient.
